Day 1 · Operational to be confirmed
Flights and first arrival
The operation of the flights, the arrival airport and the first transfer will be specified in the definitive program. The cultural path in Japan starts from Kyoto.
Day 2
Kyoto, between bamboo and temples
The program includes the Arashiyama bamboo forest, the Golden Pavilion Kinkaku-ji and the Nijō Castle, an ancient shogun residence.
Day 3
Kyoto in freedom
Day available to continue to know the city with its own rhythms. It is possible to add an optional excursion to Nara, with the Great Buddha and the park of the deer; this activity is not included in the price.
Day 4
From Kyoto to Kanazawa
Departure by train to Kanazawa. Visit the historic district of Higashi Chaya, Kenroku-en gardens and ancient Samurai residences.
Day 5
Shirakawa-go and Takayama
Transfer to Shirakawa-go, between traditional houses with large straw roofs. Continue for Takayama and overnight stay in a ryokan: an experience of Japanese hospitality with futon and tatami.
Day 6
Takayama and the trip to Tokyo
Visit the morning market and the streets of Takayama's historic district. In the afternoon departure to Tokyo with the railway connections provided by the tour, which include a route in Shinkansen.
Day 7
Tokyo, tradition and metropolis
Guided tour of the capital: the views of Shinjuku, the district of Asakusa with its temple and the lights of Akihabara. A day that brings together places of worship, contemporary architecture and urban culture.
Day 8
Hakone and the panoramas of Mount Fuji
Hiking in the Hakone area, with a cable car and cruise on Lake Ashi. Mount Fuji is a backdrop when weather conditions allow you to see it; the day is dedicated to landscape and nature.
Day 9
Tokyo in freedom
Last free day in the capital, to be dedicated to the neighborhoods that intrigue you most. The program suggests Ginza for shopping or Odaiba. The activities and admissions chosen for this day are organized separately.
Day 10
From Japan to Fiji
Transfer to the airport and flight to the Fiji Islands. Schedules, stopovers and connection to the transfer to the resort will be indicated in the confirmed operation.
Days 11–16 · 6 planned nights
Matamanoa, the time of the sea
Stay at Matamanoa Island Resort, in the archipelago of Mamanuca, with half board treatment. Free days between beach and relaxation; you can choose snorkeling and spa treatments, checking on the spot or in advance the activities included and those with a fee.
Day 17 · Return to be confirmed
The return to Italy
Transfer by boat and connection to the airport for the return flight. The actual date of arrival in Italy will depend on the stopovers, the time zones and the definitive operation.
