Italy – Shanghai
Departure with flight to Shanghai. Meals and overnight on board.
Day 2 · 15 April
Arrival in Shanghai
Arrival, entry formalities and transfer to the hotel. Old Town tour and walk along Nanjing Road, illuminated shopping heart of the metropolis. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 3 · 16 April
Shanghai
Visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Temple of the Buddha of Giada and a craft laboratory. Walk on the Bund and in the former French Concession. Full board.
Day 4 · 17 April
Shanghai – Chengdu – Dujiangyan
Internal flight to Chengdu and continuation to Dujiangyan. Visit the Panda Valley, important conservation center immersed in a natural environment. Full board.
Day 5 · April 18
Wolong – Chengdu
Visit to the Wolong Panda Research Centre, between the Sichuan Mountains. Return to Chengdu and walk to Kuanzhai Alley, courtyard district, tea rooms and shops. Full board.
Day 6 · 19 April
Chengdu – Xi
Visit of the Research Base for the Giant Panda Breeding, then Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli Ancient Street and Wuhou Temple. In the afternoon high speed train for Xi. Full board.
Day 7 · 20 April
The Army of Terracotta
Excursion to Lintong to visit the Army of Terracotta. Experience of ceramics processing and visit of the Piazza della Grande Pagoda of the Wild Goose. Dinner with banquet of ravioli.
Day 8 · 21 April
Xi-Aan – Beijing
High-speed train to Beijing with packed lunch. Upon arrival visit of Dashilar and the Temple of Yonghe, one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist temples in the capital.
Day 9 · 22 April
Beijing and the Great Wall
Excursion to the Great Wall in the Juyongguan section. In the afternoon visit the traditional Hutong neighbourhoods and a craft laboratory. Full board.
Day 10 · 23 April
Imperial Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Dinner to see you with a pechinese duck and transfer to the airport for the night flight.
Day 11 · 24 April
Beijing – Italy
Flight back and arrival in Italy. End of trip.
